What's Included

Each Ready Made Original has three pages;

1. A home page.
A very important shop window, powerful enough to catch the eye and engage the attention and at the same time contain search engine friendly text about your key services and area to catch the eyes of the search engines so to speak!


2. An info/about us page.
The all important who you are, how you’re qualified, how long you’ve been in business and/or past experience etc. One of the reasons for the huge success of the internet, website allow customers to find out about you before they call you or book you. We help you to make a great first impression.


3.A contact page (which can include an interactive questionnaire).
Google Mapping when appropriate, helping customers find you, contact details and an email enquiry form.

A multi page pdf brochure of 4 sides is included and based on the website design. Excellent for customers to download and review, and excellent for you to email enquiries. A pdf brochure looks like the printed thing on screen but is both emailable and downloadable, plus, whenever you make amendments, there is no reprint cost!

We also link your pages to any Facebook or Twitter pages you may have, or similar.

Basic SEO is provided (Tip) and site care (Tip) and we will also help you with directory listings like Free Index.

The Original Ready Made

The original ‘Ready Made’ idea was a reaction from viewing poor sites produced for customers by various ‘Directory’ companies made from templates with limited functionality and a very bland if not boring look. The prices being charged for these ‘templated’ sites were not insignificant plus additional charges for domain names, amendments, extra pages etc all on top of the advertising costs of the directory sites. On the other side of the coin were template style sites that were very cheap, but very professionally designed, the only problem was that you needed to know how to use, and have access to some very expensive software including Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX, Photoshop, Fireworks MX to name but a few.

We wanted to provide similar size sites but professionally designed with good functionality at a price that represented excellent value and incorporated the same high service levels, as a full-bespoke design customer would receive.

The Original Ready Made was born! A three-page site, which could incorporate graphics, slide shows, Google Mapping, Interactive forms. Links through to existing Facebook & Twitter pages etc. Amendments to text and additions or swaps of imagery, basic SEO all included in the service. Covered by one competitive price and a small monthly subscription taking care of hosting and ongoing site care.




 

  
What's Included

Each Ready Made Plus has five pages;

Google Mapping when appropriate, helping customers find you, contact details and an email enquiry form or forms if you wish to have forms for specific services.

5.A Gallery page. Show examples of products, or services, past work. The Gallery page is made up of thumbnail images which when clicked on enlarge and may lead to a slide show of additional images. The Gallery Pages are in the lightbox fashion as in the examples we show of 'Ready Mades' when a business type is clicked on at the head of this page.

The Ready Made PLUS!

Ready Made Plus is a substantial enhancement of the original idea and is essentially a reaction to customer requests for a low cost redesign service. Essentially, a Ready Made Plus is either a fantastic starting point for a business's first website or a very economical redesign, where a business basically says "I want my site to look like that example but we’ve got all this content to fit in!"

Like the Ready Made Original, the site can include a variety of effects and interactive services to capture the user's attention. However, with the Ready Made Plus you get a more substantial site with 2 powerful versions of a web brochure, and an interactive Gallery.

1. Are ‘Ready Mades’ unique
or do you sell the designs
more than once?

Yes, ‘Ready Mades’ are unique. They are all in-house designs which once in use are no longer available to any other client. On display above, when a business type is clicked on, is a small portion of the designs available. Whatever your business, Ape Red will very likely have 2 or 3 ‘Ready Mades’ waiting for your content.

2. When the text is originally created by Ape Red can I/we change it if I/we want to?
Ape Red helps you with the original content via pre prepared templates which we edit with your details. You can then amend or completely change your text content as and when you wish. Your site is hosted by Ape Red and the service includes ‘Site Care’ you can make unlimited amendments.
3. Is there a deadline
for content?
No, we prepare your original content and once live you can make amendments whenever you like free of charge.
4. How many amendments
can I/we make?
There is no limit to the amount of amendments you can make. Some businesses will make very few alterations within a year however another business may have a news section that changes weekly.
5. Do I/we have to make the amendments myself/ourselves?
You simply provide Ape Red Media with the amendments as a text file or word document and we put them in place.
6. Can I/we add my/our logos?
Yes, we will ask you for your logos at the outset and include them in the design then proof them online for you before going live.
7. Can I/we change the
colour to match my/our existing branding?
We can change the overall colouring of a design to complement existing branding using your logo colouring within the available design elements such as title bars etc.
8. Can I/we add my/our own photos?
Yes, we encourage you to include your own images, especially of examples of your work.
9. Can I/we change my/our
personal images if
I/we want to?
Yes, as with your text, there is no limit to the number of amendments you can make when swapping one image for another. Adding additional images will depend on the space available per page.
10. Can I/we add a gallery
page as one of the 3 pages
in a 'Ready Made Original'?
No, the gallery pages come with 'Ready Made Plus', however you can have a table with some images placed at a set size.
11. What do the other pages
look like?

The additional pages are based on the leading page design. Where you see content (text) in the example page, take it that in most cases the following pages will be the same with different content per page.

Where the lead page is more graphic the following pages will either use the graphic as a faded background with your content over the top, or the graphic will become a smaller version and be placed as a header.
